There is nothing worse then spending the holiday season in a hospital... The Pediatric Unit of the Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia needs you... There are hundreds of children who will be away from their homes and their families this holiday season. So Green Hope Charities would like your support in donating what you can for these families. Here are some examples that some of the parents suggested to assist: Board Games; Video Games (ex. Play Station); Gameboy DS and/or DS games; CD’s; CD Players with headphones; DVD’s; IPOD’s; New Books; Diaries with colored pencils, markers, pens; Gift Cards (ex. Wawa Gas cards to help with all of the drives to/from the hospital), Wawa gift cards (so parents and kids can get a non hospital snack), You can drop these off at Looper’s Grille and Bar in Bethlehem, PA (their contact info is on our Sponsors page) On a related note, our own Jake Vanbrunt who recently passed away was going to assist us on this mission. His original partnership with a local Pirates In Paradise group still stands and they will also assist us to help support this effort.
